Issue Position

Our senior citizens must be respected… not only with our words… but with our actions. The necessities of food, fiber, shelter and health care should never be a burden on their minds. They are valuable assets to our communities with their wisdom. Our existing senior care programs must be strengthened and enhanced for better responsive quality.

Not one veteran in this Commonwealth should ever feel dishonored by our actions. Service men and women need our unconditional support with mental health and physical trauma initiatives. While in TBI Rehabilitation, I was a patient along side many veterans coming back from Iraq and Afghanistan. I know their struggle, their hearts and the reality they face everyday! It will be my mission in Frankfort to spearhead the ongoing cause of helping these returning soldiers.
